The firm managed the construction administration for this 64,000 sq. ft. building conversion in New York City.  The process included Building Department approvals for both non-conforming use and a non-complying building.  It was necessary to reconcile the commercial and residential zoning requirements, as well as resolve the multiple building interconnection issues with the Department.

The design of this facility took into consideration its eventual curb appeal.  The interior layout provided for new elevators and stairways, a retail office and the maximum number of storage units possible. The fire suppression, mechanical and electrical systems were upgraded and a new standpipe system installed.
