This self storage project involved the conversion of a two story 19,500 sq. ft. building and a new ground up construction of a two-story 50,000 sq. ft. building. The layout for the structures included space for a retail operation and office. The layout was maximized to allow for the inclusion of the optimum number of storage units possible. The design incorporated upper and lower access to the self-storage areas throughout the lot. The storm water drainage issues were addressed. In addition, a plan for the excavation of the facilities rock foundation was implemented. Documents were completed, submitted and approved by the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) and Department of Environmental Protection and ICIP documentation was completed for tax rebates. |
